Part of my day includes SOAP.  Now, I know you might include SOAP in your day too -- hopefully in the shower.  I do that part too, but I use SOAP when I read my Bible each day.  Every day, I read a portion of scriptures, this year from the New Testament, and write a few thoughts in my journal. 

S -- the scripture verse that "jumped out" at me
O -- observations about that scripture and the surrounding passage
A -- application in how it applies to my daily life
P -- prayer for the day as it relates to the application of scripture

Add a little more SOAP to your lives!  This SOAP will clean what's on the inside.
