Southwest Lines
I spent so much time shopping for a new camera that I alsmot forgot to take a picture. I had the telephoto lens on and started snapping away at this southwest vase Mom has on the coffee table. I did not have a tripod, lighting was bad so I used a lap desk for a tripod. Loved the way the lines turned out.

Mercy Angel
My mom was a nurse and we lived out in the country. Whenever anything happened in our community and medical help was needed, they called my mom. One night she was up all night with a family until the old father died. They sent this beautiful angel and said that my mom was their Angel of Mercy. Every time I see it, I agree!

Home Sweet Home
We bought this tapestry in Russia almost 7 years ago -- after uncountable moves, it has made all of them. Regardless of our furniture, wall paper, house or apartment; once we have hung this tapestry, we fill at home. I love the grapes in the basket. I grew up on a vineyard -- we sold the vines and a little fruit. Every fall, I would use a basket just like the one in the tapestry to pick grapes. This is wine country, so the tapestry fits in well here.

The Chair
Today we went to some friend's relative's house out in the country. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed a lot of speaking in Montenegrin as well as a wonderful meal. Their 82 year old aunt was visiting and I think that she found it interesting that Americans were visiting.
I loved the way the light was coming in the door and the colors in the cushion on the chair. The chair is in their summer kitchen. They use a wood burning stove to cook with and it is too hot during the summer. During the winter, they heat and cook with a wood burning stove. The kids enjoyed playing outside.

Money Fish
I think that this must be the fish that Peter caught when he needed to pay taxes to Caesar :). Chris corrected me -- needed to pay the temple tax. oops.

Balance
Balance is important in life. Sometimes i feel like my life is so busy that one more thing will topple over my stack. That is when I know that my life is not in balance and I need to look at my stack and see where it is out of balance.

Three Amigos
These limes may not seem special to you, but they are to me. Last Friday, I was cooking a Mexican meal for some friends and needed limes for the salsa. The tomatoes are tasteless this time of year and we have no cilantro, so I REALLY needed the limes. So after 3 grocery stores and countless fruit stands, Chris found me some limes! Yeah! I also got to use my new Bulgarian Pottery.
