Burst of Color

Some photographers recommend that you take pictures of flowers when it is cloudy or not in direct sunlight.  I agree, but I also LOVE to take pictures of flowers when the sun is shining on them.  This is a picture of a miniature rose bush in our front yard.  It is amazing how the colors vary depending on the age of the bloom.  

FINALLY, caught up on the 365 project.  We have been super busy over the past week and not a lot of time to post.  It has been 130 days and I can say that I have truly enjoyed the project, except when it is 10:00 pm at night and I am in bed and realize that I haven't taken a picture . . .  Sometimes the uncreative pictures are those that I take when I have to get up out of bed to take the picture.
