All for one and one for all!
The Willeke Hands -- it was late tonight and Chris came up with this idea -- It is sort of how our family works -- together. We have been a lot of different places, had lots of struggles and lots of fun; and we are all in it together. We help each other, love each other and are connected to each other.

A beautiful expression of family love.
You mentioned that the photo was taken at night. I like the lighting in this photo. What lights do you use for taking pictures indoors? Just flash, do you fix it up later in editing program? All of mine photos taken indoors in the evening always turn out too orangy.
Also, when you have time, coudl you share some pointers on sites, books, etc. where I can learn more about photography.
Your photo here is great. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Olya,
Glad you enjoyed the photos -- and thanks for commenting.
I don't do a lot of photo editing. The only photo editing program that I have is Picasa -- from Google. It is pretty simple and easy to use.
When taking photos inside, I usually use a tripod (I obviously did on this one), and use a lower shutter speed.
http://digital-photography-school.com/ is one of the best sites that I have come across for the nuts and bolts of photography with good explanation of different aspects of photography.
I have also been trying to take pictures NOT in AUTO mode. I try to focus on one or two aspects a week. Sometimes, I get frustrated with camera shake and not so clear photos. I am learning the limits of what I can do without a tripod -- I HATE using them, but am becoming more familiar with them and getting more comfortable with them.
I want to get a different flash for my camera, so now I don't use it much at all. I don't know the proper way to use it, so when I get a new flash, that will be a project for me.
Hope this helps.
Thank you, Jill.
I will check out that site.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Please say HI to your family from us.
