Every Ottoman-ruled town had a clock tower to indicate the Muslim prayer times. This is an 18th century Clock Tower (Sahat Kula) that does not have a clock in it any more. It is sort of a land mark in town and one of the only structures in town from that era. Most of Podgorica was destroyed during WWII.
